OVERVIEW
This collage is an extension of a previous project that required us to draw a natural object in six different styles, with each style using less and less ink to understand the "economy of means" in the context of art theory. Afterwards, we were to take one of our drawings and transform it digitally to create an image unrecognizable from its original source. The resulting collage represents an internal struggle to piece back together the heart, despite all of the darkness and cracks that exist and continue to appear.
